The Group’s investment in intu gives us access to a vast customer base across the UK with two thirds of the population living within 45 minutes’ drive of an intu centre. Over the next 10 years, intu has a £1.2 billion development programme which will deliver an additional 2.6 million sq ft (240,000 sq m) of prime retail space.
Peel holds a significant shareholding in Harworth Group plc, one of the largest property and regeneration companies across the North of England and the Midlands. Harworth owns and manages over 22,000 acres (9,000 hectares) across 150 sites.
