What we do
Peel Utilities provide services to business and domestic customers relating to the discharge of drainage and surface water and also for the provision of water for a number of uses.
Peel Utilities have arrangements with some of the major water companies which allows them to discharge water into our waterways at a fair price. Owners of waterside land or developers can also discharge surface water and treated effluent into our network taking full advantage of our competititve charges.
Have you considered using canal water for heating and cooling buildings? MediaCityUK in Salford Quays and Imperial War Museum North have already adopted this method. Most councils are expecting 'new builds' to be powered using sustainable solutions.
