New EventCity video released at EventCity Live!
With full multi modal access, Ince Park will be a modern, clean and sustainable park, providing specialist business space for the environmental technology sector and focussed on reprocessing and remanufacturing waste materials.
Located on the south bank of the Manchester Ship Canal, the 51ha (126 acre) multi modal site has excellent road and rail access and berthing onto the canal.
With full outline consent and part detailed consent, the development will comprise an Energy from Waste (EfW) facility and Environmental Technologies Complex – a cluster of waste management and environmental technology facilities.
Ince Park offers the opportunity to create a leading concentration of waste management, recycling and reprocessing users in the North West.
The park will be run by Ince Park LLP in a joint venture partnership between Covanta Energy, a world leader in the development and operation of large scale EfW projects, and Peel Environmental. Phase one of the development will see Covanta, the world’s biggest operator of EfW facilities, building the 95MW EfW facility.
