Salford City Stadium has signed an exciting new ten-year deal with Azure, to provide both match-day and non-match-day catering and events at the soon to be opened stadium.
Greater Manchester’s newest conference and events destination, and home to Salford City Reds Super League Rugby team, has linked up with an award winning hospitality partner to deliver high quality banqueting in its state of the art conferencing suites, which will cater from 10 – 1000 delegates.
The new 12,000 capacity stadium in Barton is due to be completed in December 2011, with the first Super League match at the new stadium kicking off in February 2012.
As part of the deal, award winning Azure Group Chef Steven Fitzsimmons will oversee the catering for the Stadium, alongside experienced General Manager, Steven Reeve, and his team. In addition to providing catering to the stadium, Azure will be responsible for marketing and selling the stadium's conferencing offer for non-match day use.
The facilities provided by the Stadium, include Hospitality Suites and Executive Meeting spaces catering for 10 – 1000 along with match-day food kiosks. With attendances of up 12,000 Azure are sure to have a big crowd to please.
