Peel's proposed £50 billion investment strategy for the North West.
Peel has let 17,000 sq ft of space on a 10 year lease at Britannia House, Wallasey to Combined Harvesters.
Combined Harvesters, which was previously located in Bromborough has moved to Britannia House to help facilitate its business expansion.
They are one of the foremost suppliers and fitters of all types of rainwater harvesting systems from simple water butts to full underground storage systems and all associated integral parts.
Al Tunnington Managing Director of Combined Harvesters said, "The company has seen an impressive growth pattern over the last three years and with the implications of the new code for sustainable homes, the rainwater harvesting and stormwater management side of the business was set to grow the company further. This coupled with the manufacture of a new 4000 litre underground rainwater storage tank to add to the RainCatcher range of 215 litre water butt and 700 litre above ground tank, meant that a move was imminent; once again , and this time it would have to be to a very large premises”
David Smith from Peel said, “Britannia House is in an excellent location just one mile from J1 the M53 and offers flexible warehouse accommodation. We are delighted that Combined Harvesters have seen the benefit of being located here”
Patrick Hughes of Legat Owen who acted on behalf of Peel Land and Property said "We are delighted to have secured Combined Harvesters at Britannia House. Although market conditions continue to prove challenging this deal showed that with both parties willing to work together deals can be achieved”.
