Status: Former quarry available for restoration and construction of an airport viewing platform.
Description: A former sand and gravel quarry which requires restoration, including the reinstatement of ground levels and construction of an airport viewing platform using waste materials.
Location: The site is located adjacent to Robin Hood Doncaster Sheffield Airport in Doncaster, and has excellent transport links to the M18.
Size: 51 hectares
Planning Permission Status: Planning permission was granted in January 2011.
Current Progress: The site is currently available, and early discussions are taking place with a number of interested operators.
