City Airport & Heliport, is a business and general aviation airfield located in the City of Salford close to the M60 motorway and just 5 miles from Manchester City Centre.
Approximately 120 aircraft are based here, with over 50,000 take offs and landings per year, flown by a variety of private and syndicate owners, students under training, business and commercial use.
Ambitions are for City Airport & Heliport to be developed to its full potential and to grow the business of aviation activities to encourage an increasing number of organisations and individuals to use the facility.
The Heliport offers a professional, secure environment for the operation of helicopters and ideally suited for the transportation of VIPs. The Heliport also includes a business centre catering for small businesses and meeting rooms which are available for hire.
